Timar L. Brown is the founder and chief executive officer of Edgentel, a strategic advisory and analytics firm focused on helping businesses harness data, technology, and financial insight to drive sustainable growth. He brings a distinctive blend of technical expertise, strategic finance experience, and a commitment to inclusive leadership to his role as CEO.

Before founding Edgentel, Timar served in roles at Chubb and KPMG LLP, where he led enterprise-wide IT finance transformation and supported C-suite decision-making through advanced analytics, automation, and business intelligence. At KPMG, he held various roles in audit and internal groups, developing expertise in financial controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance—particularly across banking and capital markets.

Timar earned a Master’s degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems with a concentration in Data & Analytics from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with a minor in Finance, from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he was a student-athlete and held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Beta Alpha Psi.
